Our Story Born
and raised in Averill Park, NY, sisters Christy Burnham and Kelly Cox
make up the Christian rock duo known as Undue Favor. They are gifted
musicians who have been touring together since 2004. As singers and
songwriters, they speak for the voiceless, encourage the weary, disciple
the nations and stand for the truth. With Christy on keyboard and Kelly
playing guitar, the duo continually inspires and captivates their
listeners with messages of hope and encouragement. In
2007, their first album, "Life Amazing" was produced at Dark Horse
Studios in Franklin, TN. Soon after, Undue Favor shared the stage with
Group 1 Crew and Caedmon’s Call, as well as opening for Matthew West and
Brandon Heath. In 2009, their second album, "Ages Pass" was produced by
Todd Robbins (DC Talk, Sarah Groves, and Little Big Town). May 2010
brought the launch of the "Ages Pass" spring tour, which included 25
stops from Tennessee to Maine. Recently they filmed 2 music videos with
director/producer Justin Cardoza. Both videos will be available for
viewing on their website when completed. Although
they have a variety of musical influences ranging from the likes of
Peter Gabriel, Amy Grant and the Indigo Girls, Undue Favor's unique
artistry delivers distinct sound blending a tight harmony. They perform
concerts at fairs, festivals, churches and other venues. Their passion
for outreach has led them to support causes such as the Tennessee
National Right to Life and other community charities.
